Souvlaki is the second studio album by the English Slowdive. It was released on 17 May 1993 in the UK and on 8 February 1994 in the US.  A two-disc remastered re-issue of the album was released in 2005 by Castle Music, a subsidiary label of Sanctuary Records. Sanctuary Records Group Limited was a record label based in the United Kingdom and a subsidiary of Universal Music Group. Until June 2007, it was the largest independent record label in the UK and the largest independent music management company in the world.
